What do we do when my Mom's assets run out?

We are currently paying for my mom to live in an assisted living facility specializing in memory care but her assets are running out and the facility is saying that her level of care needs are going up which means they want more money

Apply for Medicaid. As Pam Stegman said, the AL should have alerted you so that ths app process could begin. I would contact AL Financial Dept. asap.
