My Father is not helping my Mother and in fact obstructing her care. Next steps?

No legal implements are presently in place. Mother had bad stroke cannot care for herself. Father by his actions is driving away children willing to care for mother. Notice concerning Medicaid intercepted by father! Care will be discontinued due to no response to notice!!

Like GardenArtist had said, call APS. You can make a report without giving your name or anything, so your dad won't know it's you. Has your dad always been a control freak?

I just want to second what GA is saying; call APS for intervention.

Did you mother go to rehab after her stroke? Is she still eligible for rehab services?

Ask APS to intervene. Your father is not only not helping, he's worsening the situation. Your profile doesn't address him but I suspect he either has some personality issues or some health issues of his own.
