What do I need to do to keep my mom (91) away from my drug addict sister who is telling her lies about people (including me) and stealing?

my mom has changed her POA 3 times in the last 2 years..my sister lies to her, and uses her lack of mental awareness to further her power and control. Mom took her out of the Trust last year, after my sister wrote her a 30 page letter saying what a horrible mother she was.

"Get that money" is your sister's mission and motto. Out of the trust, she'll do whatever it takes to get it. Take that 30-page letter loaded with emotional blackmail with you when you initiate the guardianship petition Pam suggested. Your mom might not know what to believe anymore, so keep track of your sister's conversations with her. Any lies pop up, nip them in the bud. Addicts are quite adept at planning, plotting, scheming, and scamming. Don't delay.

Initiate a Guardianship petition immediately. The Judge would never appoint a drug addict and can test both of you. You of course, will pass.
