Do nursing home workers put cushions on residents' chairs?

my loved one lives in a nursing home. she has a manual wheelchair. however every second day the physio decided to put her in an electric chair for the day. this helps with her rehab. however the nurses at the nursing home will not change the cushions. shoud they?

I spoke to physio and management about this ; but they don't seem to have control. at least as far as I can understand.

I can't imagine what the excuse could be for not transferring the cushions beyond sheer laziness. Speak to the physiotherapist and DON about it.

my loved one has 1 manual wheelchair and 1 power chair. the physiotherapist at the home wants my loved one to use the power chair one day and the manual chair the next day. however we have only '''one''' set of cushions between the two chairs.

I'm not understanding why the cushions need to be changed. Are they soiled?
