What living options are available for someone (60) who has Medicare A & B and a Social Security Disability?
Income is $972 per month. He has some money saved (about $10K) and is currently living in an ALF that costs $1,500 per month. At this rate he will run out of money over the next couple of years.
Florida has HCBS waivers (Home and Community Based Services) that will help him. Talk to the financial person at the ALF who should help you with the application.
