My father has Alzheimer's and I have had to quit my job to take care of him. Is there any financial help?

Only if he is poor, with less than $2K in the bank, in which case you apply for a Medicaid waiver and home services. No, he cannot give away assets to make himself poor. Medicaid checks back 5 years on financial records.
