Does anyone out there have to deal with audible hallucinations?

My mother has them and will not accept that they are in her head. My mother will not accept any kind of help. It's like watching a train wreck ready to happen and you can't stop it.

She has been to the neurologist with my brother and phsyciatrist with him as well. She even agreed and went to a phyciatric for several days and heard nothing there. She also has been caught in lies. She wants nothing to do with drugs or any one that cannot hear the voices. 4 of her children have stayed with her and heard nothing. She's called the water co, electric and phone. All have told her they don't know where the voices are coming from. Nothing logic is good for her. I have not called the doctor as of this last episode that to us has escalated. Seems like if she doesn't want help our hands are tied. I guess I need help more than she does. :(

The people next door for years fighting, etc. she hears them on a treadmill for 24/7, the thump thump thump. She's heard them repeat things in threes. Like music, music music. She now hears them tell her to shut off her lights, they are too bright. Turn off her fans, they are too loud. But she drives, helps friends, goes out to lunch or dinner. She would seem normal, until she brings up the voices.
