My sibling took my wealthy Mom's home and refused access to his other siblings. Is there anything we can do?

There are 4 of us which are denied access to see my sick wealthy mother at his home. What legal recourse could we use to prevent this happening?

My sibling stayed at my mum's house and is not in good terms with his siblings including me. Now my mum is terminally ill, he doesn't allow us to visit my mother. In the past, he has attempted to get my mum to transfer money to him but failed. He did not want us to interfere in his plan and wants to control her well being. We are helpless and worry.

Oops, I just noticed a really big typo in my post..... it should have read "siblings access to seeing their mother".... instead I had written "money".

[wish we could edit our own postings after the fact... my proofreading isn't what it use to be].

I'm having the same trouble freqflyer is. It's unclear whether the sibling took the mother to his own home and is denying access to the other siblings, or took over the mother's home and won't let the siblings visit there. What's actually going on here?

Frustrated, we need more information. How old is your mother and what are her medical issues? You wrote your sibling took your mother home.... the sibling's home or the mother's home? Can your mother live on her own or does she need around the clock care?

Had you and the other siblings been doing caregiving for your mother? There has to be a back story in order for a sibling to deny the other siblings access to seeing their money.... wealthy or not.
