Hi,
My dad has been on Medicaid for 10 years now and the only thing he has left in his name is a whole life policy worth about 20k. Somehow that got left off of the Medi-cal app - I cant remember why.
My question is what do I do with this? I get a bill once a year for $120 and its all paid up. Is the state of California going to find out about it and want it? Dad is still alive, but what will happen with this when he passes?
