Gijane, why not call a doctor - hers or your own - tell him/her exactly what you've told us and ask for advice. Your grandmother clearly does need help, so at least that would be somewhere to start.

Well, if you can't even get her to go to the doctor, how do you plan to move her to a home?

I think you should work on getting her to the doctor for a checkup. Perhaps a friend of hers can help you out. Or one of her children.

Have you taken or has she been to the doctor with these symptoms? There may be some medicine she can take that will help. Who is helping her out while she's this way? I can see where you might think a home is the best thing for grandmother, but there may be other options. You should try them first.

I know it's pretty scary to see her like this. She does need some help, and the sooner she sees a doctor, the better.
