Will Medicaid cover the rest of the bill when her annuity is gone, as she will have no other assets then?

My mom is going into an assisted living nursing home, her bill at first will be covered by her social security and an annuity fund.

Whoa! Assisted Living is not a Nursing Home. So which is it? Do they even take Medicaid? Many AL places are private pay only. You need to know more, read all the forms, and NEVER sign your name on the billing responsibility.
