What's the US national avg length of stay for an Alzheimer's patient in a memory care facility?

I know it varies, just looking for averages. Trying to determine if parent has enough LTC insurance to pay for it.

Good observation, 3 years would skew the average statistics a bit.

Depends on a lot of factors but 2-4 years is a good gauge

I just read an article that says the average life expectancy for Alzheimer's patients, after being admitted to memory care, is approximately 17 months.
