I tell people I sometimes tell others I have memory problems because of traumatic brain injury. Very difficult with numbers, memory, paranoia ( until I figuredit out, it was me) organization skills shot. i have just been diagnosed with Lympocytic colitis and R.A. 8 yrs ago and have been pretty much ok....feeling struggle because of Dr. And my meds. Any suggestions?

I'm sure glad that you are feeling pretty much OK and that you have a good dog to keep you company. What are your current struggles with doctor and meds?

Apparently your dementia is progressing very slowly. Hooray! But dementia does keep getting worse. It is remarkable you have been able to live alone all these years since diagnosis. While you still have the cognitive ability to make decisions for yourself it would be extremely good to make plans now for when you will need help. Do you have a social worker to help you make plans? Is your doctor making suggestions for you?

Coolidge if you want a more specific conversation with us, please tell us more details about you and your struggles.

I am sincerely wishing you the best!

Are you completely alone in the world without any relatives or friends nearby? You need to make some sort of contacts to make a plan for your present and future care.
