Thank you so much. We found an awesome facility, but he refuses to consider it. He says we are getting along just fine. His hygiene is still good and he still takes care of his house, but I can't seem to find enough information on the excess fluid. I don't want to put him through more tests since the outcome will be the same no matter what.

He can no longer live alone. The combination of these two maladies has no good prognosis. Start looking at facilities now, most have a waiting list. All of them will help you sort out the financial aspect and refer you to a no fee benefits counselor.
