Is it ok to only bathe once a week when you live and share common areas with caregivers who take care of someone bedridden?

Find something online that supports your concern; print it and hand it over... or just sort of leave it somewhere they might come across and read it. Or... simply wash any plate and utensil you use for yourself BEFORE you actually use it and mention that the plates always feel greasy. Or be astonished that dishes are just rinsed off - we rinse off dishes before they go into the dishwasher.

Yes sibling with poor hygiene has hepc and several skin problems that are contagious. So it is very frustrating.

i havent vaccumed the bits of leaves and bark from the floor from dragging in last winters firewood yet . too late in the year to worry about it now -- maybe next spring ..

Have the other inhabitants there been diagnosed yet? You have more than one sick person.

We bathe my Dad daily, (bed bathes) it is other people who live here, and we go behind them trying to clean common areas and it is very frustrating when they won't cooperate...I have signs everywhere...I am just loosing the battle!!! It is OK. In a nursing home you get a shower once a week. Hand washing is a MUST after the toilet and before and after handling food. Get the nice smelling foaming hand soap by every sink. It's not as harsh as bar soap that can dry the skin. Be sure disposable gloves and wipes are available in the patient's room. Actually the germiest item in a home is the TV remote, the second germiest is the telephone.
