My brother-in-law and myself have POA for dads affairs he has assets in Ireland but is our uk POA valid there as well?

Father in law has signed poa to us but he has property and a bank account in southern ireland - does our poa extend to his irish affairs or do we need an irish poa?

That depends on Ireland's laws. Most likely you'll have to contact a lawyer in the UK to find out. I did a quick Internet search with "estate attorney Ireland" and came up with resources. You may want to refine that with the name of the area/county or whatever works.
Good luck,
Carol

It may well be different. If it was N. Ireland you are fine. Your lawyer should know.
