beccasing, I called a reliable insurance broker & he did the work for me. I told him I needed an insurance that would definitely cover the serious eye problem I have. The treatment is pretty expensive to get injections in your eye. He also found out the medication I was on and he did all the leg work to find the best insurance for my situation. Today begins my first day of Medicare and I had all the paperwork taken care of in June.........so it was no problem to slide right in. Good luck and be careful because you will be getting all kinds of calls and things in the mail from all these insurance companies. It pays to choose wisely.

Go to medicare.gov and click on your state. Plan options vary by state and in some cases even by county. There are some very good Medicare Advantage Plans, but you need to know what you spend on prescriptions and whether or not your MD takes Medicare patients.
