Mom (90) is in a deep sleep for three days now, bp still normal. Input?
When washing & changing diaper we try and feed ensure meal replacement

I'd be concerned about her ability to swallow (and not choke);
I'd worry about her hydration keeping an eye on her her BP.

It could well be a sign of shutting down. If that is the case, feeding her may not be helpful. Do you have hospice involved in her care? That might be appropriate at this time. Most of us who have used hospice have found in extremely helpful.

Sorry, my question is: is this a sign of the body shutting down? Her diapers are also not as soaked.
