not eating or drinking is a quite humane way to shut failing systems down. from what ive read, the deprivation induces a mild euphoria . at a point of terminal agitation hospice will make with the morphine and theyll moonwalk off this planet wooping it up like mike jackson. not really, but they wont be feeling any pain, like keith richards . on the morphine and ativan liquids they wont last long, like kurt kobain..
rock and roll heaven, s'wat im saying. you know theyve got a h*ll of a band..

I'm going to call hospice tomorrow, she has some 'Glucerna' but she's not drinking too much like 2oz at a time...

Not eating could indicate the digestive system is shutting down. Not drinking either means she will dehydrate and not last more than a few days. Talk to the Hospice nurse about what to expect next.
