What are some good interview questions to ask a home health worker/agency?

For the time being, she would need help with errands, meds, and companionship a few hours a day, maybe 2 days a week. I'll need to do this initially w/out my mother present, since she will refuse any assistance. Ideally, I would like to introduce this person as a "friend of mine" and then integrate into helping my mother.

hi
I would ask if you would always have the same caregiver.I think that is very important especially if your loved one has a memory problem.Ask what duties the caregiver can and cannot do.All the agencies I know the caregivers cannot physically give the meds-only a reminder.

Hello looloo,

We have a great Home Care tool that our AgingCare.com Team has provided on our site. I've listed the link below. It gives you the whole spectrum of how to go about home care, including questions to ask the agency.
