I wish to be a family caregiver and be involved with Medicaid's "Cash and Counseling." Any advice?

My Dad had a stroke and needs 24 hour care. He lives in CT and I in PA. No problem with the move. He is on Medicaid and is a Veteran. How do we become involved? Procedures seem somewhat confusing and involved. I wish to head in the correct path ASAP.
Thank you,
S. Baker

You get him a good nursing home. Medicaid will not pay you, but they will co-pay a nursing home. You could call the VA, but they have a waiting list longer than Walmart on Black Friday.
