How do I sign my Insurance policies over to a funeral home?

When you want to take control: call your insurance company's customer service and ask for them to e-mail/mail Irrevocable Change of Ownership or Absolute Assignment forms (depending on the insurance co.) Take these forms then to your trusted funeral director (you can fill out your personal data prior, name address & SS#) or IF your a P.O.A. complete the insured data and sign with P.O.A. after your name and carry a copy of the Court's legal P.O.A. paperwork to your funeral director.

I agree.. Make an appt with funeral home bring policies with you pick out your casket, music, cards etc.. Prepaid and untouchable by medicaid...

the funeral director has assignment forms that you sign. they will collect their money from the insurer.
