Night time urine incontinence. Advice?

It is a difficult situation. It's also very hard to get someone that age to keep the face mask on. But it can be done and there are new products. You would prepare to go to the Sleep center 1-2 nights with your loved one. We did this with my father-in-law, got everything at home and he'd throw it off during the night. I was reading about a connection with sleep apnea and nighttime urine incontinence. My father does have apnea and I'm guessing sleep apnea is the same thing? I'm wondering if anyone has a parent with both conditions and if CPAP worked for that.

He's not on diuretics. So that's not it. It's baffling when I think about it as to why only the night.

I'm going to guess that with CHF they are giving him diuretics like furosemide (Lasix) or metolazone that make holding urine darn near impossible. Get him a small urinal to keep by his bed, if that helps.
