Can my sister, who is mom's Executor of her will, take my mom's house for herself while my mom is in a nursing home?

My sister is Executor of mom's will and mom also had her name on many checking accounts and savings accounts as well. My mom is on Hospice now and very close to the end of her life and in a nursing home. My sister informed me that she was 'keeping the house' and has completely remodeled it in about 6 weeks, she has also sold moms car and her motor home and signed moms name on the titles to those. My sister stated that 'it will all work out in the end'.. She is estranged from all of the family and her life is very secretive. Can she do these things and if she goes through the money in moms accounts what can we do about it?

Contact Adult Protective Services. Your mom has not died yet, and these items belong to her. Sister will have to account for all she has done, the remodel if she keeps the house should be on her dollar. Do you know who the attorney is that prepared your mom's documents? Contact them as well. Or go to AVVO to ask attorney's in your mom's state questions, receive responses and ratings of attorneys.
