I have financial POA for mom. My sister in law and I had a falling out. She took mom to the bank. Can she legally do this?

She had my mom sign a paper stating that she wanted to close out current bank acct that has my name on it and open a new acct w/o my name on it. Can she do that legally? My mom suffers from a brain aneurysm in 2001 and has TIA's and dementia.

You likely could fight it with her doctor's help since she has dementia, but you may need an attorney. If you're will to do that and feel it's worth the potential family fallout,
the give it a try. I wish you the best,
Carol
