Can my mother pay me (her daughter) for caregiving?

Yes...if your Dad was a Veteran of WW2, Viet Nam, Korean War, and a few others
more recently. He didn't have to see battle to qualify. There is a non-profit that
gives the details and how you can apply for free. www.nasv.org
It may take a few months to get the funding, but it will be retroactive from the date the application is filed. If its the actual Veteran you can get about $2000 a month. If its the surviving spouse, you can get about 1100 month, providing they were not divorced. Hope this helps!
