Outdoor ramps instead of stairs for people who tend to fall down stairs?

Go for it! The sooner you get it, the more use she'll get from it. And if she ever needs a wheelchair it will be already in place.

We bought a house a few years ago that was fully ramped indoors and out. Not that we needed it at all at the time, but, we kept the outdoor ramps (concrete) and we really love it. FIL used a walker for several months and the ramp made it so much easier for him as well. Don't know how that is up north in the winter but in the south it is great. Also it is necessary to keep them clean and free of sand.
