Mom's a senior citizen and her roof on her house is caving in. Is there anyone that can help her with financing to get it fixed?

Definitely call the local elder affairs / council on aging office.

What about Habitat for Humanity? Is there one in your community? It is a charity organization and they build houses and/or additions for free. I'm sure they could help out with a new roof. Good Luck!!

In our community, there's a Jewish Family Outreach Center program that's available to all elders, regardless of their faith, that will come out and do repairs. I don't know if they do major things like a roof, but worth a call.

Call your local Elder Affairs office, they may have a suggestion..Check with your church or Habitat Humanity maybe they can help out...
