Will ObamaCare pay for my Medicare insurance supplement?
I am below poverty level income and $110. per month is taken out of my Social Security. Can I just get ObamaCare to take the place of Medicare, Medicaid and AARP?
Hi Dee, The Affordable Care Act does not provide an alternative to Medicare. Given your income, I would encourage you to contact an expert - either one of our agents at eHealthMedicare, social security or contact Medicare directly at 1-800-MEDICARE to see if you qualify for dual eligibility, which is a combination of Medicare and Medicaid.
