What should we do with dad's property in Vegas if applying for Medicaid? Property not worth much.

My mother is on Medicaid, we USED ALL HER ASSETS FOR HER CARE prior to making application for Medicaid. We did not protect assets. I see too many posts on this forum from people looking to protect parents' assets for themselves while expecting the taxpayer to foot the bill for the parent's care. I don't know that you are looking to protect assets or not. If you are not, don't take my comment personally. Sell the property and use the money to care for your elder.
