What can be done when a woman's son takes all her money?

MY WIFE IS CAREGIVER FOR A LADY WHO HAD A STROKE AND IS PARTIALLY PARALYZED ON ONE SIDE . HER SON COERCED HER TO GIVE HIM POWER OF ATTORNEY AND FORCED HER TO SELL A NICE HOUSE WHERE SHE HAD LIVED FOR MANY YEARS . HE SOLD IT FOR MUCH LESS THAN TRUE VALUE , AND CONFISCATED A LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY FROM HER ACCOUNT . NOW HE WANTS TO SEND HER BACK TO ROMANIA SO THAT HE CAN KEEP ALL THE MONEY , AND HE COERCED HER TO SIGN A PAPER DECLARING THAT THE MONEY WAS A ' ONE TIME GIFT ' BY DESIGNATION OF THE I.R.S. TAX CODE , SO THAT HE WOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY ANY TAX ON THE MONEY . WE WANT TO HELP THIS LADY , BECAUSE SHE HAS BEEN GREATLY WRONGED BY THE SON .

I am glad you have found some agencies that can help. It is so good that this lady has you and your wife in her life. I hope it all works out for her.

WE HAVE DONE THAT AND MUCH MORE , THANKS TO YOUR REPLY .
WE ACTUALLY FOUND 8 DIFFERENT AGENCIES WHICH WILL BE NOTIFIED
INCLUDING FL . DEPT . OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES . THE BEST REMEDY IS TO FIND A LAWYER WHO PROTECTS THE ELDERLY FROM " EXPLOITATION OF THE ELDERLY ". IN FLORIDA , THIS SON HAS COMMITTED A FELONY OF THE FIRST DEGREE .

Contact Adult Protective Services - they should be able to look into this.
