How do I approach my mother-in-law and father-in-law, to allow me to help them?

my father in law is diabetic and is on dyalis. he is very demanding of my mother in law.
she is ill as well and has neglected herself, due to putting all her energy and time with him. I would love to help. how do I approach them with my offer to help?

You could try to sneak the help in a little at a time. Find out when fil has one of his next apts and make a hair dressers apt for mil. Tell dad she's busy n you have to take him.
Next time ur over there chk out her shopping needs/stores. Make a list n bring the stuff over.
If u just step up n do it a little at a time they'll get used to it.
See laundry in the hamper....do it. Dishes in the sink...wash em. Crumbs on the floor....vacuum. Ur fil may have a few words for ya but ur mil will be greatful. He'll get used to it.
Short of getting thrown out of the house, what have u got to lose by trying?

Good luck
