How does a visually impaired patient find a place to move?

THAT ALSO HAS HAD ANOTHER RECENT TBI INJURY, HE NEED'S HELP LOCATING & MOVING TO A SAFE AREA THAT HE IS UNFAMILIAR WITH GEOGRAPHICALLY. HE HAS 1 EYE, MULTIPLE NERVE & JOINT DAMAGE. IS IN POWER MOBILITY EQUIPMENT BUT CAN WALK SHORT DISTANCE'S. HE PRESENTLY HAS BEEN LIVING IN THE SAME APARTMENT IN A BAD AREA FOR 3 YEAR'S, EXPOSURE & HOSPITALIZED FOR PESTICIDE POISIONNING IN JUNE 09 & CONTINUE'S TO SUFFER FROM RESIDIDUAL CHEMICAL EXPOSURE. NEED'S SOME IN HOME HELP SUCH AS MEAL PREPERATION, GOOD LIGHTING, INTERNET ACCESS AND ASSISTANCE IN MOVING. MOUNTING BATHROOM EQUIPMENT PROVIDED BY HIS PRIMARY CARE. HELP WITH TRANSPORTATION TO DR'S & SHOPPING.

Is he a veteran? The VA may be able to help. If not, I'd begin by checking with his social services adult protection people and follow their advice. Relocating will make this more difficult, but they should be able to tell you the next step.
