How do you protect elders when a company promotes a caregiver who does drugs?

Carson Plaza Retirement has a manager there that has requested "meth". She was assistant manager at the time and it has escalted to where she grabbed my arm and jerked me almost to the floor in the community dining room. She was reported and the corporate office did nothing, again. I have been a caregiver in the building for 22 years and have never had a rpoblem with any other managers. I do not know where to turn for help. I have contacted the AG office, Comissioner of the Board of Labor and they do not know where to send me. I need help.

I am calling the Elder Protective tomorrow. I was told she should not be allowed to work with elders if she is in need of drugs. She has a pharmacy at her disposal.

If she ever accosts a resident, you can call Adult Protective Services. Maybe even just being reported to them would make corporate HQ take notice.

I reported her to the police when she grabbed me in the dinig room, but I am running out of places to go. They all send me somewhere else.

Why are you not going to the police?
