Most people are basically non-communicative in the end stages, but they may understand more than we know. Always consider that the person may understand what is being said, so watch your conversation around him or her. Touch, such as holding a hand, is generally welcome. Music is generally good. Some people like to be read to. Mainly, having someone there is a positive thing. People need to know they are loved, even if they can't respond. he just sits he has not lost his appetite but has lost 35 pounds. He has no idea who anyone is and cannot carry on a conversation. sits and reaches out in air, thinks the mirrors are people other than himself. cant dress or bath himself. cant be left alone will not take any meds at all. has fits of rage. other than that its just day by day here at home.
