My Mom is on Social Security and wants to move closer to me. Is there any rent assistance she can qualify for?

Your state office on aging will have a list of government subsidized housing for seniors. Your mother would have to qualify based on income. Also, look around for regular senior complexes as well. Some of the places I looked at for Mom were less that the subsidized housing...I am still trying to figure out their formula.
