My mother-in-law is using her treatment for cancer as a way to take advantage of her stay with us. Help, what should I do?

If she is going through chemo, then that will end at some point. Just make sure she knows when her treatments are done, she's going back home. My friend went though chemo and was pretty sick, so it was good that she was living with people that helped her through it.

Can you tell us what you mean by "take advantage of" - for instance, is she being demanding? Expecting you to serve dinner to her in bed when she can walk to the table and eat there? Wants to control what is on the t.v.? Is asking you to buy this or that?

How much longer until her treatment is done and will she move back to her home then?
