How do i find volunteers who visit the elderly in assisted living?

I was online looking for volunteer opportunities. I have a little boy who is about to be two and am trying to find a place where we could go and visit the elderly together. I know older people love kids and he has quite the personality when he warms up to you. If you are looking for someone in the Helena, AL area or near by just let me know.
