Will Medicaid pay for a toilet seat riser or bath chair for an elder?

I'm not sure about Medicaid but here in NJ Medicare won't pay for a bath chair - I just went through this for my mother. Medicare did pay for her toilet seat riser, though.

Contact your local Medicial supply company and ask them. It is my understanding that Medicaid can be different is coverage per issue. It was covered for my mother as long as I had a script from her physician. By calling your local medicial supply company they can tell you if it is covered or how to get it covered and what you will need to get it covered. Hope this helps, Blessings Bridget
