There can be many reasons causing this to your eyes, i suggest you consult an eye doctor. He/she can tell you the best. If you are in KIlleen, you can visit Killeen Vision Source.

Burning eyes can be caused due to a lot of conditions like dryness (which is commoner in older ages), allergies, eye strain due to computer vision syndrome, inflammation of the eyelids, pink eye or just plain old tiredness… Depending on what is causing your eye trouble, the treatment will vary from antibiotic drops for pink eye to artificial tears for dry eyes to just a good night's rest if its plain tiredness! But to know which of these is the treatment for your eyes, it would be best to get your eyes examined by an eye doctor.

If this came on suddenly it could be an infection - think pink eye - so see your opthamologist. Or, it could be allergies or dry eyes, try some over the counter artificial tears - rule out anything critical with the opthamologist first.
