Question

Canadian national radio and television is CBC. There is a weekly broadcast by a Dr. Brian Goldman called "White Coat, Black Art".

The topic today was "Validation Therapy--How to reach the person inside the dementia." I would recommend it to any of you who are interested. Just go to CBC website and click on "White Coat, Black Art." It is the most recent episode.

OK I've just finished listening to that, it left me wishing for a little more depth and discussion but I suppose there is only so much you can fit in 1/2 hour. I just can't see how their success can be duplicated in the average nursing home with high staff turnovers and where you often don't see the same caregiver with any consistency.

That would be on cbc radio, not cbc tv. Maybe easier to google "White Coat, Black Art". Thanks for the tip.
