I ran across this while doing some research - and thought it might be helpful to other caregivers on this forum. Allthough some of the info is specific to Texas, it has some really good, current info about Medicare, Medicaid, good questions to ask of potential assisted living facilities or nursing homes, federal and state requirements for residential care for AD patients, etc. Hopefully, this link will work:
