Her pain managed w/fentonil patch. week and she eats most of them. I have accepted that this is her choice. When she says she wants to walk again (with her walker) I remind her that this is only possible with her brace and PT, which she refuses. Hate seeing her in pain and frustration but not much anyone can do if she will not cooperate. At least with her better attitude (medically-induced) I have made my peace with her and she seems to have done the same. She occasionally STILL give the aides a difficult time but even that is settling down. Guess this is just the time to "accept" that it is what it is".
