Who's the POA's POA?

I'm not sure I'm posting to the right category; my question is a little Financial Planning, a little POA, and maybe Care Decisions...
Pondering my limited backup again, I just came across the term solo caregiver. I recently got POA for my mom, but haven't done much besides continuing to occasionally angst over how to put something in place for her if I can't continue caring for her.
Since going on chemotherapy in May, I've had awesome support from my spiritual sisters (and brothers), but nothing set in legalese.I read an article which suggested building a carer network then wondered if an elder law consult could help with that. And what would that Village of Mom kind of thing would even look like. ??
Would dearly like to know what other solo caregivers have done to put legal backup in place for themselves.
