She is becoming bed ridden. Tab type depends and a draw sheet might help. See if you can find a nurse to teach you how to do this care. Be careful to turn her evrry couple of hours to prevent bed sores
If your mom is too weak to pull her pants up and down, why isn't she just wearing nightgowns or simple dresses? And isn't your dad able to help her pull her pants up and down? If not and her care is getting to be too much for him then it may be time to look into placing her in the appropriate facility. They only make Depend type diapers that you can either pull up or down or tear them off on the sides. Other than that, there are the tab type diapers just like they make for babies, which don't have to be pulled up or down.
