Can a senior on Medicaid get home services 24/7 in Connecticut?

In the years I've regularly been on this forum (since 2019) I've only read about 1 poster who was able to wrangle full-time in-home Medicaid aids for his LO, but only because he was a lawyer and fought and fought over it. I don't remember what state it was in. As others have responded, the answer is almost always NO. Plus, there seems to be a high turn-over rate in aids, probably because they are not paid well nor trained well. It will come with a lot of oversight and management.

No State Medicaid gives 24/7 care in the home. You are lucky sometimes if you get 8 hrs 5 days a week.
