Yes, but the government, if they even consider paying you for some of it, will only consider in limited circumstances.
One is ihss state run programs where they stipend you maybe 20 hours at most.
Another is va, which requires fundamentally that the recipient served during Vietnam, Korea or ww2. Again not at all full time, not especially for a spouse
