Has anyone tried an acidified body wash for elder skin?

I'm intrigued by the claims of Lume body wash. They say that their product is close to the pH of skin and therefore has benefits of healthier skin and delaying body odor between baths. Has anyone used this product or a similar one with an elderly person with very dry skin? She gets a proper bath in a tub once per week and maybe this product will be a good choice for that.

It falls in the category of cosmetics. Most contain the same main ingredients. Otherwise spend the extra money and go for it. Let us know. BTW, how will you be measuring body odor? By nose or some expensive machine? I suspect it will be anecdotally which is an opinion and not a measurement

I am uncertain I would put too much faith in any advertising things for any products, but that comes after a lifetime of testing out the claims. They surely are expensive enough, but I would be certain to get the unscented and would also be certain not to get any with deoderant protection. That means you are getting all KINDS of stuff you don't want on the skin of the elderly. So I wouldn't be wasting much more than one try on this stuff. Perhaps you can ask the company for a sample. Always good to test new skin products on the inside of the elbow skin overnight and under a band aid to be certain of no reaction.

Good points, thanks!
The product is not cheap, that's for sure.
