Your County should have Social Services. They may be able to help you. Call your local Office of Aging. Someone there may be able to help you manuver thru the red tape.
You don't give us much to go on here other than perhaps your husband has cancer, so I will just say that I hope your husband has already applied for Medicaid, as they will pay for his treatments and such, and will also pay for some in-home help for him as well. Depending on your husbands age you can call your local Senior Services and Area Agency on Aging to see what resources may be available to help you, along with calling 211.
