Are there any new pessaries that are easier to use than what they have available now? I was given one for a prolapsed bladder, so hard to use.

The pessaries should be easier to put in and take out. I was told to tie a string of dental floss on the one that was given to me, there should be a better way to insert these pessaries and a better way to take them out for us females that do not want to go to a doctor for assistance.

Consult a pelvic floor specialist, an M.D. Surgical and other treatment techniques have advanced in recent years. There may be no need for you to live with that situation.

I did a fair amount of research about this for a family member, bottom line is there are many different types available and your health care provider should be willing to work with you to find one that works for you. If you try searching the web for different types of pessaries you should find lots of sites with both pictures and information, and some of them are very explicit
